Eli (Anastasia) Demidov is a queer human rights defender and a missionary, working for the rights of women and LGBTQIA persons who suffered sexual abuse while in religious service. 

Eli has served for over 15 years in the Roman Catholic Church.  During this time he has coordinated night and day shelters, worked in slums, hospitals and hospices in Poland, the Czech Republic, Ukraine, Russia and India.
